Based on the population by geographic region, North America makes up 15.7% of the world’s Internet Users. In 2007 it was 19%. The decreasing rate is due to the rapid growth of Internet Users in other regions of the world as the statistics show. Asia makes up 41.2% of the world’s Internet users, which is the highest, and next to that is Europe at 24.6%.
Due to the trend in Internet usage more and more business owners are turning to the Internet by having a website designed as a marketing solution to expand their business profitability. Consumers are also using the Internet to shop and communicate with retailers and other services. In general as revealed in the statistics people are using the Internet more and more each year, so the Internet offers a big marketplace for business owners, service providers, and entrepreneurs. Website publishing is becoming a necessity for businesses. It is growing each year as Internet usage grows.
